Service Description

An intensive 12-week Certificate Course provides foundational knowledge of Moorish History and Culture with focus on psychological, political, social and legal foundations of Nationality and identity. Through primary sources, scholarly research, and guided discussion, students examine key developments in History, Politics, Culture, Psychology, Religion, and Law while strengthening critical thinking, analytical writing, mathematic, and social skills. Other topics include Moorish civilizations’ contributions to World History, governance, cultural achievements, legal traditions, and economic systems. Students complete readings, discussions, quizzes, and written assignments designed to develop historical knowledge, critical thinking, and research skills. Whether you are beginning your study of Moorish History and identity or expanding comprehension of global Moorish Civilizations, this course provides a strong foundation for continued academic study. Graduates are styled “Academics.”
