A. Good question and some do identify as American Moor, which is a term and movement to itself with great intentions. The term, American Moor, and I love the term, but it faces two major challenges. One is that as an Indigenous Claim, it lacks an Ancestral Religion. If one claims the religion of Islam, as from the East, not the Islam, ISLAM, or Islamism of Moorish Americans, then one claims to be from outside of America and forfeits Indigenous Claim to America.

 

What about the term Moor in America?

 

A. Moor in America may be representative of a body politic, yet, it is not representative of a Nation, or a National Term. From what I’ve gathered, those who identify as Moors in America say that they are not from America, that they are from Africa across the Atlantic Ocean. Therefore, they give up claims to America and Indigenous Status. In fact, there is no Nation that claims them. In any case, joining on with Moors in any way you can and figuring it all out later is good idea.

 

I have to go to a Moorish Science Temple Of America in order to Proclaim Nationality?

 

A. You should, but, No. Not everyone can get to a Temple and not everyone wants to go to a Temple. If you don’t go to a Temple, then you need to go before Moor Empire Representation, meaning, a Consulate, Sultanate, or Sherifdom, for example.

A. If you and two others with the necessary education, then you all can set up your own Consulate, Sultanate, or Sherfidom.
